The
Y.E.S. House philosophy is to provide safety and compassion for healthy,
emotional growth to at-risk youth. We believe that children and their
families are one of our greatest resources and therefore, our programs
build on the assets of children and families. The Y.E.S. House programs
promote responsibility and choice-making. Learning to make positive choices
gives children confidence in their own ability to secure a successful
future. In finding solutions, we feel both parents and children are equally
responsible. We encourage extensive family involvement; and provide an
opportunity for all family members to re-group, learn new skills, and
resolve the issues that resulted in the need to call upon our programs. We
also believe that everyone has the right to be treated with dignity and
respect.
