Learn & Grow

Learn and Grow is an EXCITING, fast-paced enrichment program serving elementary kids in Gillette and Rozet.

If you want your child to build a rocket and see how high it flies, construct buildings out of Legos, make a fake fossil, bake their own granola and a thousand other things, then Learn and Grow is for you

Kids will have a chance to create works of art to take home, learn games and sports and play with their friends. With a limited number of kids in each session, your child will have the time of their life!  Snacks, recreation fees, and all supplies provided. (All sessions are Monday-Friday, grades K-6)

  

  • Open to 120 kids in the school year
  • STEM based curriculum including Legos, recyclable construction, and cooking snacks
  • Summer schedule: Morning program 7:30-12:00pm and Afternoon program 1:00pm-5:30pm
  • School schedule 3:40pm-6:45pm (parents pick up after 6, before 6:45)
  • Schedule on early release days; 1:30-6:00pm (no bus home)
  • No afterschool program on snow days
  • Most holiday hours are 8-5 (closed on Christmas Day, New Years day, Thanksgiving Day, Memorial Day and Labor Day) we are open most other holidays

 

  • Bus transportation home at 6:00pm if needed (during school year)
  • Dinner available at 6pm for children whose parents pick up (during school year)
  • 2 Trained Staff from the YES House at each location
  • Drop in basis, 1 to 5 days a week
  • Homework, academics, reading, character building, leadership, nutrition, physical activity
  • Open to students who attend the following elementary schools: Rozet, Lakeview, Hillcrest, Wagonwheel, Meadowlark, Sunflower, or Conestoga.
  • Also open to homeschooled students and students who attend private schools in Gillette.
